Going down under when you die
Southern Forests
The southern forests are a great spot to visit for From Perth, take the South Western Highway towards Bridgetown, stopping in Pinjarra along the way. Be sure to visit the Gloucester Tree lookout - an awe-inspiring 60 meters up. Certainly not for the fainthearted, but those who accept the challenge of climbing this giant Karri tree will be rewarded by an amazing view of the forest canopy. Follow a trail to explore the enchanting Karri forests. An excellent area to have your ashes spread if you like a forest view.
Wine country
Perhaps you would like to be spread along the rows of a vineyard where you can become part of the next grape harvest for Australian wines. Along the southern coast are many vineyards. Your memorial service can be hosted in the area while featuring some really fine wines before your ashes are spread to fertilize the grapes.
Australia is full of scenic areas to select as your last resting place. The southern forests are just one of many.
